Basic Info Biosolange's melange is the scrapbook from one half of melodia, a transatlantic musical duo.
melodia's sound was established with electric guitar and accordion at the core, spun around half-asleep rhythms of xylophone, piano, guitar, banjo and mandolin craziness. melodia is a project of compiling musical ideas, with two sisters sending recorded songs to each other on 4-track tapes through the mail when they're apart, and playing til their fingers ache when they're together. melodia's music is equally at home in the world of indie pop as in the world of eastern european street musicians.
melodia also has a repertoire of old-time european tunes which they busk with in warm seasons on accordion and banjo. they spent the summer of 2005 busking in their hometown of vancouver, canada.
